My Weight Watchers Challenge!
I Started my Weight Watchers journey in November of 2015. I chose to do the online program along with my friend as my accountability partner, in total I have lost 25 lbs!! let me give you a little background as to why I chose to do Weight Watchers. Previously I tried strict fish and vegetable diets, working out everyday and it just didn't work for me. I always had to restart every week and could never stay on track. Weight Watchers has helped me find great alternatives to my chocolate cravings and make better decisions when it comes to fast food. I honestly would recommend this program to anyone who wants to loose weight. I know some of you may say tracking everything I eat is way to involved. But honestly its super easy! I pull out my phone before or after every meal, I track exactly what i ate and or drank and that's it. Let's be honest you are on the phone anyway so the few seconds it takes to track your food is nothing. My fit bit tracks my exercise and i weigh myself once a week to track my progress. Simple simple!
Things have changed a lot in the kitchen and in my fitness life. First I stopped buying enormous amounts of processed junk food and candy. I buy things like baked chips, pretzels, popcorn, lots of fresh fruit and other healthy options. I have committed myself to drink a gallon yes a gallon of water everyday! I know that sounds like a lot but once you get started it can be pretty easy. I have tried my best to cut out sugary drinks and soda. I have discovered many cooking swaps as well. I cook more chicken I use Veggie based pastas as opposed to traditional flour pasta and I now eat at all meals and have two snacks a day. I even brought my family and friends in on it too! Subtle changes can make a big difference in your weight loss journey. I can't wait to share some of the recipes I've discovered as well as some of my tips and tricks! Until next time........
