2 Week Clean Eating Challenge: Grocery List and Day 1 Meal Plan


When I began my grocery trip today I had all intentions of shopping for the entire two weeks at once but with the crowd of people and the time crunch I was on I decided to only shop for this week. It worked out because i got great values on everything I purchased and I Know my items will be fresh!

2 Week Grocery List
( Depending on the size of your family and storage capacity you may have to alter the quantity of grocery and or make one trip to the grocery store a week)

  • Frozen Fruit ( mixed berries, peaches, pineapple, mango) Look for no sugar added
  • Plain Greek yogurt
  • Spinach
  • Kale
  • Cucumber
  • Stevia
  • Carrots
  • Plain Oatmeal
  • Honey
  • Skim Milk
  • Whole Grain Cereal ( Cheerios, Honey Nut Cheerios..Etc..)
  • Tomatoes
  • Basil
  • Large Turkey Breast
  • Egg Whites
  • Chicken Breast
  • Broccoli
  • Parmesan 
  • Dark Chocolate
  • Dried Cranberries
  • Granola
  • Pecans
  • Izze Juice Drinks
  • Smoked Chicken (store prepared)
  • Romaine Lettuce
  • Whole Wheat bread
  • Whole Wheat Sandwich wraps
  • Pita
  • Fresh Fruit ( Strawberries, Apples, Bananas, Grapes, Pears
  • Turkey Sausage


Breakfast

2 Egg White Muffins
1 small piece of Turkey Sausage
8oz Glass of Orange Juice

Lunch

Smoked Chicken w/ Garden Salad and olive oil/lemon juice dressing
fresh fruit
Drink of choice Izze ( Carbonated Juice)

Snack

Dark Chocolate Cranberry Granola
Water

Dinner

Smoked Chicken w/ Broccoli 
Water

As you can see Day 1 was a very light day but I must honestly say very filling. While grocery shopping I found a whole smoked chicken at a great price. As you can see we ate off of this for both lunch and dinner and we still have leftovers which I will probably make into something else. I also purchased a large turkey breast ( the kind you might purchase for a small holiday gathering ) I prepared it very simply with salt and pepper and popped it in the oven for 1hour and we will be using that for sandwich meat, dinner, and even breakfast just stay tuned!
